I am extremely excited to be a 4th grade Language Arts teacher at Barton Creek!  I graduated from Texas State University with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2008 and found myself teaching Special Education at Barton Creek shortly after graduation. The next year I had an amazing opportunity to teach 5th Grade Language Arts & Social Studies.  I have been a part of the incredible 4th Grade team at BCE for the past two years and I could not imagine having a better job! 

I am currently in my second year in the Master's Program at Texas State University studying Special Education with a emphasis in Learning Disabilities.  I look forward to learning from the wonderful professors and passing along this knowledge to my students and colleagues.  Graduation: June 2014!!

I have a passion for integrating service, project based learning in the classroom and am excited for the upcoming project with my fourth graders.  Thanks to Youth Service America and State Farm for the recent grant!
